Annotations offers cultural producers a space to reflect on the defining currents and crises of our time and to talk about how these currents and crises impact and, in some cases, motivate their practice.
Conceived as a multimedia online publication, Annotations combines a newsletter with a podcast and youtube channel and is presented by Nico Andreas Heller.
We believe that access to Annotations should always be free for those who cannot afford a subscription. At the same time, we would rather be funded by you, our readers, listeners and viewers, than depend on public funding – which always comes with strings attached.
Hence, in addition to our regular subscriptions, we offer concessions for those on a low income and a ‘back door’ for those who cannot afford a subscription at all.
